Zooey Deschanel As Betty Brandt In Spidey Reboot?

It's been reported that both Marc Webb and the studio behind the new Spidey reboot want Zooey Deschanel to star in the upcoming film. They want her to play Betty Brandt.
Webb has announced that he has BIG plans for the character that had a small role in the original trilogy. Brandt was originaly played by Elizabeth Banks.
