Warner Bros. announced it earlier today that "The Tutor" star has been picked to play the role of Clark Kent/Superman in Zach Snyder's "The Man Of Steel", which has now been rumored to be called simply "Kal-El".
I like him. He looks like he would be good in the role. I would never of guessed that he would get it. I actually thought that the studio were deffo gonna bring back Brandon Routh. Cavill auditioned for the role of Superman for McG's "Superman: Flyby", but lost out to Routh when Bryan Singer came in and turned it into "Superman Returns".
It's amazing that all British actors are playing superheros and villains now.
Christian Bale as Batman.
Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man.
Rhys Ifans as Lizard.
And now, Henry Cavill as Superman.
Finally the role is filled. Production can finally move forward.
