Many people have expressed their outrage over Tyga name dropping Trayvon Martin in his song "Designer". It's routine for rappers to drop names of other individuals just to make a line rhyme or to provide a punchline for a particular line. Tyga used this common rapping tactic, but he's been receiving heat for his usage of Trayvon Martin's name. The Trayvon line goes like this:

I got that gold thang. Make these b*tches scream/Make these p*ssies pop/Killin' n*ggas for no reason - Trayvon."

Now he didn't actually say anything negative about Trayvon; in fact he acknowledged that Trayvon was killed for no reason in that line. The problems lies with Tyga's use of Trayvon's name in general.

Many people feel offended because his death is so recent and still such a touchy subject and feel that there was no reason for Tyga to use it in a song.

He followed up Trayvon's name drop with a Zimmerman name drop, where Tyga officially disses Zimmerman for showing what he believes is a photoshopped picture of the back of his head - imposing the images of cuts on the back of his head to make it look like Trayvon beat Zimmerman before he shot Trayvon.

"This that Zimmerman, that drop head, they photoshopped."

Regardless of Tyga's intentions for dropping Trayvon's name, maybe it would be best for him and other fellow rappers to stay away from the temptation to drop Trayvon's name in their own songs.
